[After the trial, Ali is just standing around outside, thinking about things a bit too much. It's only when he sees Saber that the creases in his brow smooth out and he actually talks.]

[ as exhausted as anyone can be after nine hellish hours. ]

What do you do to wind down all the stress?

[ which is harder to do at the moment while injured but. ]

... I was helping Waner train. It's a little depressing to think about it now.

She was very smart. I would say I wish it wasn't her, but... I think we can say that about anyone here.

[Maybe Justice. But you can't get rid of Justice without getting rid of Anders, so that's a no-go.]

It really doesn't seem like this is going to end any time soon, though...

[ and it really will just get worse as people bond more. ]

Well, regardless of how it ends, it will end in five more weeks. The angels told me the first few days here that this was only going to last eight weeks.

How many of us are even going to be left by then?

It's hard to be happy about any sort of redemption knowing how many aren't going to get it.

Assuming one person murdered and one person executed every week over the next five weeks, 22. If more people kill, then less.

[He's done the math far too many times lately.]

So, at least half...

[ they sigh. ]

What do you think about whatever is going on?

Well, I heard a theory that this could all be related to the seven deadly sins. What do you think about that?

[rippled]

I heard it being talked about... gluttony and lust and... all that...

[smokeandglasses]

Well so far, each week the person affected by some force has had the mentality of one of those sins. Hawke was absolutely pride, and from Neverah's reaction after the vote I think she was wrath.

Are we going down the whole list then? Jing Yuan was... sloth?

[smokeandglasses]

Apparently he killed because he was bored, so...?

[rippled]

Hm... I will assume Sloth still, because the people who knew him said that it was extremely out of character for him to do that.

[smokeandglasses]

I'm guessing all of these murders were out of character to some extent. Take a personal trait, exemplify it to the point where it becomes a sin, and let them run wild. Or something like that.

... it's such a headache for us. For something like that, we can't rule out people based on what they would or wouldn't normally do.

Week 3, Saturday

[Seeking out Saber for a talk, yep!]

I'm not convinced Daigo was affected by one of the sins. What if we missed whoever it is?

Hm, if we did it may be a problem... would they attack again?

[smokeandglasses]

I don't know, this is entirely new territory. If we get another horrific murder like we did this week that would answer our question though.

[He hates that thought though.]

I still wonder who did all that... it would have had to have been someone strong?

It's very likely. But the shirt and boots had no overlap. If Zhongli wore the shirt, then who of the boots is strong enough for that?

It's hard to say. And it's not very hard to appear weaker than you actually are.
