Well, I know a little bit about flowers. Asters are really easy to grow, you could water them once or twice and forget about them and they'll be fine. Sunflowers and sweet peas are good too, we have those in our yard back home.

When they were kids, we would call Ava 'sweet pea' and Chance 'sunflower'. So we decided to start growing them once the kids were a little older. That way they could see what the flowers looked like.
