Well, I know a little bit about flowers. Asters are really easy to grow, you could water them once or twice and forget about them and they'll be fine. Sunflowers and sweet peas are good too, we have those in our yard back home.
Aster grow wild in my area, yes. But the others...
[Oh no, he's smiling wistfully now.]
When they were kids, we would call Ava 'sweet pea' and Chance 'sunflower'. So we decided to start growing them once the kids were a little older. That way they could see what the flowers looked like.
You know, I honestly thought there would be more people here.
[He is going to just turn on the video recording of his phone at about 11:50 and lean it against a wall, so it's recording the front half of the greenhouse.]

Looks inside the greenhouse at the three people in here. ]
At least it'll be a quiet night?

[He tries to peek out of the greenhouse walls. This probably will not be useful at all but he still tries.]
I wonder if anyone is outside right there.
no subject
I wouldn't be surprised.
no subject
[Assuming they both don't die and mysteries are left unrevealed.]
But for now, we should try moving that shelf.
no subject
[She'll start moving the pots.]
no subject
It's not too much stuff at least.
[This is going to be a pain in the ass to fix tomorrow.]

[I, Maple, was a sicky sick and forgot.]
no subject
Do you want to now?
no subject
[Imagine if they just leave the shelf in place after clearing it off.]
Is there anything you want to grow?
no subject
Nothing in particular. I like flowers, but I don't really know any of their properties.

[Moving the shelf.]
Did you plant them or were they there when you got it?
no subject
[Oh no, he's smiling wistfully now.]

no subject
That's a sweet reason to have those flowers.
no subject
Well, any reason is a reason. You could grow sunflowers to eat the seeds if you wanted.

I...guess it's just us. Okay.
[And then he immediately starts trying to shove the shelf in front of the door.]
no subject
... I kind of thought there'd be more people. No offense.
[ she feels like she's third wheeling a date... ]

[He is going to just turn on the video recording of his phone at about 11:50 and lean it against a wall, so it's recording the front half of the greenhouse.]

[With his phone set up, he steps back to look at it.]
There. Now I'll see if they keep recording after midnight or not.
no subject
[ last week was. interesting. anyway; ]
You're trying to see if your phone records through the night?
no subject
[Unfortunately he is one to collect as much information as possible before doing anything drastic.]

And if it works, we might be able to use it to get people to stop killing. Knowing that you'll be recorded is enough to make many people pause.
