Well, not normally forced, but I'm stuck like this for now. I haven't been able to go back to my true form.

They're a normal human shape, but the pupils are bright red. Like, 'not a normal human eye color' bright red.

So far not stripping at trials has kept it hidden, and nobody has asked about my eyes. So as long as I find a solution for my smell I should be fine.

It is something from Siffrin's world they told me about. A tradition of sorts, where the total change of appearance and personality is welcome.

That does sound nice, actually. But I don't think I need it. Normally I can change back and forth at will. I just stick to my human form because it makes it easier to live in the city.

I think it might be good to have something else to focus on, actually.

I wonder why he chose Adolphe. He has a sword, and Yves told me he is the leader of the Corps where they are from.
I'm not sure that there is any golden rule to being less of a target.
