Hey...it might be a bad memory, but I have to ask: when Dan attacked you, was he acting strange? Like, strange in the way Jing Yuan and Hawke have been acting.

He didn't seem strangely out of it to me. But I didn't know him as well as others.

Did he say anything that might indicate why he tried to attack you?

No. We didn't say anything to each other that night.

Did you talk that evening, before everyone fell asleep?

No, he was busy trying to break the barrier around the location. There were other people talking to him.

Huh...actually, that does make me wonder: did everyone else just fall asleep at midnight?

I didn't see Adolfe at all that night.

You mean like, he wasn't at the market?

No, he was at the market when everybody went to sleep.

Despite everything, I didn't see him or Hawke.

I was a little busy... I just know I didn't see them while I was in the market.

Huh... Did you see everybody else who was there? Or did they disappear at midnight?

I was preoccupied. Sorry I can't be more help... But I didn't see anybody in the library either.

No, it's alright. When you're being attacked there's not much of a chance to see these details.

I was thinking about leaving a video feed running next Thursday night, to see if it records anything.

I think that's a good idea... I don't know what kind of information it would catch.

Our phones should be able to record something at least. They have a video function.
