It's a celebration held close to the end of autumn. During the summer all of the old spirits of the world are roused from their sleep. On Halloween, everyone dresses up in costumes for a great performance for the spirits, lulling them to sleep for the winter months. While the old spirits sleep, fewer accidents and weather calamities happen.
